About Chemistry Section
·
The chemistry section has facilities and expertise to carry out
chemical analysis of metals and alloys and, corrosion testing.
Standard procedures meeting international standards are adopted to
ensure maximum reliability and accuracy of test results to meet the
customers' total satisfaction. The chemical analysis of metals and
alloys by optical emission spectrometer and atomic absorption
spectrophotometer is accredited by NABL
·
Can provide expert opinion on
corrosion related failures of industrial components.
·
Can provide expert opinion on conformity to specifications and the
classification of metallic materials based on their chemical composition.
·
The Chemistry section is also involved in research in the areas of surface engineering and
corrosion. |
