TIMA 2011

7th International Conference (January 6-8, 2011)

TIMA 2011

   TIMA-2011, the 7th International Conference is being organized by CEERI Centre, Chennai, India and will be held during January 6-8, 2011. The conference will have presentations on all topics related to industrial measurements and automation. TIMA-2011 will also have a strong participation by the International Community of Instrumentation and Automation Engineers and Technologists. It may be recalled that earlier TIMA conferences held in Chennai attracted overwhelming participation from many countries. They had contributed immensely for the success of the conference by presenting their research work. The TIMA-2011 conference secretariat is functioning at the premises of CEERI Centre, Chennai.

                                                                       

CONFERENCE THEME

   TIMA-2011 will focus on the Advanced Instrumentation Systems for Industrial Quality Assurance and experiences related to the application of these systems in process industries. The conference is intended for discussions on the state-of-art & new areas of research and perspectives of future developments relevant to industrial quality assurance and safety.

 Eminent invited scholars, academicians and industrialists will be delivering key-note addresses and plenary lectures on related fields. Experts like Prof. Richard Brereton and Prof. Paul Geladi are expected to talk on hyper spectral imaging and chemometrics with applications to industrial measurements and quality assurance especially on PAT for the pharmaceutical industry. Prof. Sirish Shah who had given excellent lectures in TIMA-2009 has been approached again for more lectures on current developments on automation. Prof. Digvir Singh Jeyas has been invited to give lectures on his experiences in machine vision applications relevant to food processing industries. Lectures on MEMS, automation of chemical processes are expected to be dealt with by experts like Dr. Chandra Shekhar, Dr. Chidambaram,                  Dr. Renganathan and others.
